Mark accepted
Records that your client accepted a proposal outside Vezmo, by phone, email or on paper. It does what your client's own acceptance does: the proposal becomes ACCEPTED, a client project starts, and, unless the proposal is HOURLY, an invoice for its amount is created and emailed to your client.
Authorization
HeaderSend Authorization: Bearer <accessToken>, the token from Create token.
Path parameters
id string Required
ID of one of your proposals. There is no request body.Rules
- Needs the proposal.update and proposal.send scopes.
- The proposal must be SENT or PENDING and have a client and a contract. Otherwise the call answers 400 (“Proposal already finalized”, “This proposal is not open for a response.”, “Proposal contract not found!” or “Proposal has no client assigned”).
- Another user's proposal, or a deleted one, answers 404. A proposal of the other mode (live for a test key, or the reverse) answers 404 too.
- It is recorded as yours, not your client's: the proposal's metadata gets acceptedBy “business”, acceptedByUserId and acceptedAt; the contract shows no client signature; and the proposal.accepted webhook carries acceptedBy “business”.
- The invoice fires invoice.sent, as on your client's acceptance. It is of the proposal's mode: a test key's proposal raises a sandbox invoice, paid with test cards, and its webhooks carry livemode false.
- Vezmo doesn't email you about your own mark.
- For a test key's proposal whose client is outside your team, the invoice it raises is not emailed (in test mode, emails go only to your team's addresses): data adds emailSkipped “test_mode” and that message, and the email doesn't count toward your email limit.
Limits
- 2 a second, 10 per 10 seconds, 30 a minute. See Rate limits.
- The invoice email counts toward your daily email limit. Past it the call answers 429 and nothing changes.
